Job Title: People's Operations Executive

Salary: N250,000

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Overview

We are seeking a People Operations Manager as a key figure in the HR department who will play a crucial role in shaping the workforce strategy of our organization. You will be tasked with developing policies, programs, and practices that promote a high-performance culture, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.

This role involves a blend of strategic planning and hands-on management to ensure the alignment of HR functions with business objectives, fostering a supportive and productive workplace.

You would work closely with senior leadership to develop HR strategies that support the

organization’s goals, focusing on talent management, succession planning, and workforce development.

As a People Operations Executive, your ultimate goal is to leverage your tech-savvy expertise and analytical acumen to gather and interpret HR metrics, driving continuous improvements that elevate organizational efficiency and impact.

You will shape innovative HR practices that align seamlessly with business objectives and core values, while fostering an engaging, inclusive environment that champions employee happiness, growth, and long-term success.

Functions

i. Execute Quality Assurance Operations

a. Design, implement, and monitor quality assurance programs to ensure operational excellence.

b. Conduct regular audits of HR and organizational processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions – such as SOPs, trainings among others.

c. Develop and enforce standards to enhance employee experience, retention, and organizational efficiency.

d. Leverage people analytics to measure the impact of initiatives and drive continuous improvement.

e. Review team SOP implementation to ensure timely and efficient execution.

ii. Project Oversight:

a. Provide leadership and oversight for cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

b. Manage timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.

c. Facilitate collaboration among departments, ensuring clear communication and accountability.

d. Track and report on project progress to senior leadership.

iii. Human Resource Management:

a. Assist the HR with the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and offboarding.

b. Develop and implement HR strategies that foster a high-performance and inclusive workplace culture.

c. Manage employee relations, benefits, and rewards programs to ensure employee satisfaction and compliance.

d. Ensure alignment of HR practices with employment laws and organizational policies.

e. Support workforce planning, talent acquisition, succession planning, and workforce development initiatives.

iv. Support Workgroup Assistant Coordinator:

a. Act as the primary liaison and assistant coordinator for the Support OPS Workgroup.

b. Organize and document meetings, ensuring accurate recording of minutes, action items, and follow-ups.

c. Collaborate with workgroup members to streamline processes and improve service delivery.

d. Serve as a communication bridge between the workgroup and senior leadership.

v. Reports:

a. Manage benefits, reward systems, and progression opportunities.

b. Prepare an SOP Compliance & Efficiency Report

c. Collate Staff & Operational Reports through

i. Monthly Appraisal Report

ii. Operational Performance Report

iii. Account & Finance Report

Job Requirement:

1. 3+ years of administrative experience in an HR department

2. Understanding of general HR policies and procedures

3. Knowledge of Nigeria employment law

4. Implemented successful reward/benefits/progression/L&D systems/programs

5. Strong emotional intelligence (EQ) and understanding of people

6. Experience in handling complex employee relations issues

7. Skilled in implementing and managing people systems

8. Excellent communication and people skills

9. BSc in HR or a relevant field

10. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

11. Tech-savvy, thriving in a fast-paced environment

12. Ability to multitask with a can-do attitude.
