Location: Remote

Salary: N400,000 - N600,000

We are a cutting-edge fintech company dedicated to revolutionizing financial services with innovative solutions that empower businesses and individuals. We are looking for an experienced Marketing and Fintech Sales Expert with a proven track record in community marketing, partnerships, influencer marketing, and referral marketing to help us drive growth and expand our customer base. Experience in email marketing is a bonus. This role will play a pivotal role in our marketing and sales efforts to scale the business.

Job Description:

As the Marketing and Fintech Sales Expert, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that leverage community engagement, partnerships, and influencer outreach to drive awareness and customer acquisition. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with overall sales targets and ensure the successful promotion of our fintech products. This role will also involve direct sales activities and building long-term relationships with key clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies focused on community marketing, influencer marketing, partnerships, and referral marketing to drive customer acquisition.

• Identify and build partnerships with key influencers, thought leaders, and communities within the fintech and financial services space to promote our offerings.

• Manage referral marketing programs that encourage word-of-mouth promotion and customer advocacy.

• Collaborate with the product, sales, and customer success teams to create a seamless experience for potential customers throughout the sales funnel.

• Drive sales efforts through strategic marketing initiatives, including the development of pitch decks, sales presentations, and marketing collateral.

• Develop and nurture relationships with key business partners to expand distribution channels and enhance brand visibility.

• Lead and manage community marketing initiatives, including the creation and moderation of online forums, social media groups, and events that engage with our target audience.

• Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns to measure ROI, customer acquisition, and overall impact on sales.

• Optimize email marketing campaigns (if applicable) to increase engagement and conversion rates, as a complementary channel to other marketing efforts.

• Work closely with the product team to align messaging with product features, benefits, and value propositions to effectively communicate with customers.

• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in fintech, sales, and marketing to ensure that marketing strategies are innovative and competitive.

• Other Tasks: Execute flawlessly on any other task assigned to you from time to time.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field 

• 4+ years of experience in marketing and sales within the fintech industry.

• Proven experience in community marketing, partnerships, influencer marketing, and referral marketing.

• Solid understanding of sales processes and customer acquisition strategies in fintech.

• Experience with email marketing is a strong bonus.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with partners, influencers, and clients.

• Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also being a collaborative team player.

• Proficiency with marketing tools, CRM software, and sales platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).

• Analytical mindset with the ability to measure and report on campaign performance, including ROI and sales metrics.

• Familiarity with the fintech landscape and a passion for financial technology.
