Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable a Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support the chefs and kitchen staff to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen by maintaining cleanliness, preparing basic ingredients, and assisting with food preparation. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for food service.

Key Responsibilities

• Food Preparation:
  • Wash, peel, chop, and prepare ingredients for cooking.
  • Assist chefs with basic cooking tasks and food plating.
• Cleaning and Maintenance:
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area, including utensils, surfaces, and equipment.
  • Wash dishes, pots, and pans using appropriate cleaning methods.
  • Ensure waste disposal is carried out following hygiene standards.
• Stock Management:
  • Receive, unpack, and store kitchen supplies and food items.
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify the chef of low stock items.
• Health and Safety:
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the kitchen manager.
• Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
  • Assist in catering for events or large orders as needed.

Job Requirement:
