Job Description:

We are hiring a Grill Manager to join our team. As the Grill Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the grill station operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and consistency in all grilled food items. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in grilling, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for creating high-quality dishes. You will be responsible for managing grill staff, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and manage all grill station activities, ensuring smooth operations during service hours.
  2. Train, mentor, and manage grill chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to company standards for food preparation and presentation.
  3. Oversee the preparation, seasoning, and grilling of meats, poultry, seafood, and vegetables to perfection.
  4. Monitor food quality and ensure dishes meet customer satisfaction and company expectations.
  5. Ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of all grilling equipment.
  6. Manage grill inventory, including ordering and stocking of ingredients, and ensure all supplies are fresh and properly stored.
  7. Implement and enforce food safety and sanitation practices in line with regulatory standards.
  8. Collaborate with the head chef and kitchen management to plan and execute seasonal grill menu items and specials.
  9. Monitor and manage staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
  10. Handle customer complaints or issues related to the grill station with professionalism and a problem-solving attitude.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Grill Manager, Lead Grill Chef, or in a similar leadership role within a fast-paced kitchen.
  2. Extensive knowledge of grilling techniques, seasoning, and flavor combinations.
  3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, supervise, and motivate a team.
  4. Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  5. Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health standards, with a focus on maintaining compliance.
  6. Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
