Job Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Baker to join our team. The Baker will play a crucial role in the preparation, baking, and presentation of a wide range of bakery products, including bread, pastries, cakes, and more. This position requires a passion for baking, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering top-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Baking: Prepare and bake a variety of bakery items, ensuring they meet the highest standards for taste, appearance, and quality.
• Recipe Adherence: Follow recipes and instructions to maintain consistency and quality in all baked goods.
• Inventory Management: Manage inventory of baking ingredients, ensuring adequate supplies are on hand.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products to verify they meet company standards for taste, texture, and appearance.
• Food Safety: Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure product safety.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized bakery area, including cleaning equipment and tools.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to meet production schedules and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Baker, preferably in a retail or bakery setting.
• Knowledge of various baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong time management and organization skills.
• Food safety and sanitation knowledge.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, afternoon, evenings, and weekends.
• Must reside within commuting distance of the store (no accommodation provided)
