About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to manage the financial operations of our lounge. The ideal candidate will oversee financial transactions, ensure accurate record-keeping, and provide financial insights to support the business's growth. This role is critical in maintaining the lounge’s financial health and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management:
  • Maintain and update financial records, including income, expenses, and payroll.
  • Manage cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Reconcile daily sales and ensure accurate documentation of transactions.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Prepare budgets and financial forecasts to guide management decisions.
  • Monitor spending to ensure adherence to budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Tax Compliance and Reporting:
  • Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local regulations.
  • Generate accurate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial and accounting laws and regulations.
• Audit and Control:
  • Conduct regular audits of financial processes to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
• Collaboration and Support:
  • Work closely with management to provide financial insights and recommendations.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions when required.

Job Requirement:

• Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in the hospitality or entertainment industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Familiarity with hospitality industry accounting practices is a plus.
