Job Title: Sales Coordinator
Salary: N300,000
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and well-organized Sales Coordinator to provide the
necessary support to the field sales team. The successful candidate will become the point of reference for colleagues and customers alike, by keeping schedules and providing feedback, documentation and information.
The goal is to facilitate the team’s activities so as to maximize their performance and the solid and long-lasting development of the company.
Ultimately, your goal is to ensure your unit/department meet and exceed their monthly sales quotas.
Core Functions
1. Coordinating the sales team by managing schedules, strategy implementation, filing
important documents and communicating relevant information
2. Ensuring the adequacy of sales-related equipment or material
3. Supervise and coordinate the schedules of the sales representatives to meet and exceed
sales quotas.
Functions
1. Customer Engagement & Support
a. Understand customer needs and provide solutions or support to enhance
satisfaction.
b. Answer potential customer questions and assist with follow-ups as needed.
c. Respond to customer complaints, provide after-sales support, and resolve issues
promptly.
d. Inform clients of unforeseen delays or problems and maintain a high level of
service.
e. Support the Travel Assistants with our WhatsApp and Social Media
communications.
2. Sales Team Coordination
a. Actively sell travel packages, tours, and other services to clients.
b. “Go the extra mile” to drive sales
c. Organize and coordinate the schedules of sales representatives to optimize productivity.
d. Supervise and support sales representatives and assistants to ensure goals are
met.
e. Work with the sales team during the closing of deals and provide additional
support as required.
f. Monitor team progress, identify shortcomings, and propose improvements to
enhance efficiency.
3. Administrative & Reporting Duties
a. Run daily oversight on Sales Executive’s compliance with SOP during lead recording
and other related operations.
b. Manage sales-related documents, including filing, storing, and sorting data in
electronic formats. Such as notes for leads, proposals, estimates, contracts and
invoices.
c. Compile, track and report weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales
metrics of the team.
d. Handle leads, proposal, estimate & invoicing of orders with accuracy and
timeliness.
e. Assist in preparing and organizing promotional materials or events
4. Recruitment & Training
a. Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new sales representatives.
b. Train new hires on company policies, sales processes, and tools.
5. Operational Management
a. Ensure the adequacy of sales-related equipment and materials.
b. Coordinate the preparation and execution of promotional events or campaigns.
c. Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
6. Travel Expertise
a. Develop in-depth knowledge of our travel offerings, including packages,
destinations, and visa processes.
b. Provide personalized travel recommendations tailored to client needs.
Job Requirement:
1. Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
2. Experience: 2-4 years in a similar role, preferably within the sales or travel industry.
3. Skills:
a. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
b. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
c. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
d. Analytical mindset with a focus on meeting sales targets.
e. Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
