Programme Overview
The driver training programme is designed to equip drivers with the skills, knowledge, and attitude required to provide excellent customer service, operate vehicles safely, and maintain them effectively. The programme aims to provide a pool of skilled and responsible drivers for businesses, employers, and individual car owners.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to oversee the implementation of our driver training programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the programme, including training delivery, job placements, financial inclusion opportunities, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Programme Planning and Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive programme plan, including setting goals, objectives, and timelines.
2. Training Delivery: Oversee the delivery of high-quality training programmes, including customer service, vehicle operation, safety, and maintenance.
3. Job Placements: Facilitate post-training job placements for successful trainees, working with businesses, employers, and individual car owners.
5. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders, including businesses, employers, individual car owners, and government agencies, to promote the programme and build partnerships.
6. Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the programme's progress, impact, and effectiveness, making adjustments as needed.
7. Budget Management: Manage the programme budget, ensuring effective use of resources and compliance with organisational policies.
8. Team Management: Supervise and mentor programme staff, providing guidance and support to ensure successful programme implementation.
Job Requirement:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
2. Experience: At least 5 years of experience in programme management, preferably in the transportation or education sector.
3. Skills:
- Strong programme management and coordination skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
4. Certifications: Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is an added advantage.
