Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef. The ideal candidate should be passionate about cooking, skilled in preparing a variety of dishes, and capable of managing a kitchen efficiently. The Chef will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, kitchen staff supervision, and ensuring high food quality and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality meals in line with the restaurant's menu.
• Develop new recipes and improve existing dishes to enhance the dining experience.
• Ensure food presentation is appealing and meets company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels, place orders for kitchen supplies, and manage food costs efficiently.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring teamwork and efficiency.
• Plan and adjust menus based on seasonal availability and customer preferences.
• Handle food storage properly to prevent spoilage and waste.
• Ensure timely preparation and serving of meals.
• Maintain good relationships with vendors and suppliers for quality ingredient sourcing.

Job Requirement:

• Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment.
• Culinary degree or relevant certification is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of various cuisines, including local and international dishes.
• Excellent cooking and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders efficiently.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of kitchen safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
