Salary:N70,000

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team at a Supermarket. The ideal candidate will handle all transactions accurately and efficiently, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a professional demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision and efficiency.
• Process sales transactions and ensure accurate billing for all purchases.
• Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints promptly.
• Ensure the cash register is balanced at the start and end of shifts.
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier station.
• Assist in bagging items and, where necessary, help customers with their purchases.
• Monitor stock levels near the cashier station and report low-stock items.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including cash handling and loss prevention guidelines.

Job Requirement:

• Minimum of a SSCE or ND qualification in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a cashier or similar role (preferably in retail or supermarket settings).
• Proficient in using POS systems and other transaction tools.
• Excellent mathematical and reconciliation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
