Location: Osapa London, Lagos

Salary: N90,000 - N100,000

We are seeking a skilled and creative Baker with experience in supermarket baking operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for producing high-quality baked goods, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining hygiene and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes and production schedules.
• Monitor baking processes to ensure products meet quality and consistency standards.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, production levels, and product quality checks.
• Decorate and present baked goods in an appealing manner to attract customers.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of the baking area, equipment, and utensils.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a hygienic work environment.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to introduce seasonal or promotional products.
• Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and report supply needs to management.
• Provide excellent customer service by handling special orders and responding to customer inquiries.

Job Requirement:

• Minimum of a Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or Higher National Diploma (HND).
• Proven experience as a Baker in a supermarket or retail environment.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and food safety standards.
• Ability to operate baking equipment and troubleshoot minor technical issues.
• Creativity in developing new recipes and decorating techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work early shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
