Description

Job Title: HR/Admin Officer
Industry: Agricultural Produce
Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Salary: N200,000

Position Overview:
The HR/Admin Officer manages human resources and administrative functions, ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes, employee relations, training, performance management, compliance, and facilities. This role also supports organizational goals through efficient administrative practices.

Key Responsibilities:
1.     Recruitment & Staffing: Conduct job postings, resume screening, interviews, and collaborate with department heads to align recruitment strategies.

2.     Employee Relations: Address concerns, enforce policies, and promote an inclusive work environment.

3.     Compensation & Benefits: Manage salary structures, benefits, and ensure legal compliance.

4.     Performance Management: Oversee appraisals, feedback, and employee growth.

5.     Legal Compliance: Ensure adherence to labor laws and HR policies.

6.     Employee Engagement: Organize events and strategies to improve employee satisfaction.

7.     Facilities Management: Oversee office maintenance, security, and supplies.

8.     Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relations.

9.     Health & Safety: Implement protocols and conduct risk assessments.

10.   Budget Management: Develop and manage the administrative budget.

11.   Record Management: Organize company records and documents.

12.   Communication & Coordination: Facilitate inter-departmental communication and administrative tasks.

Job Requirement:
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
