Description

Job Title: Business Development Specialist

Salary: N250,000 plus commission

Location: Agungi, Lekki, Lagos

We are a forward-thinking logistics company specializing in mobility solutions. Our mission is to drive sustainable logistics practices, and we are seeking a highly experienced Business Development Specialist, who will drive growth and partnerships in the logistics space.

Requirements
∙ Develop and implement strategic plans to drive sales of electric bikes and mobility solutions.
∙ Identify and secure new business opportunities in the logistics and mobility space, with a focus on financing partnerships.
∙ Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders, particularly in organizations like Jumia, Bolt Food, or Konga.
∙ Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns targeting key audiences.
∙ Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies.
∙ Negotiate contracts, terms, and agreements to secure profitable deals.
∙ Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • ∙ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • ∙ 5+ years of experience in business development within logistics, e-commerce, or mobility sectors.
  • ∙ Proven track record in sales, client acquisition, and achieving revenue targets.
  • ∙ Experience working in companies such as Jumia, Bolt Food, Konga, or similar organizations is highly preferred.
  • ∙ Strong understanding of electric mobility and financing solutions.
  • ∙ Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • ∙ Ability to analyze market data and make informed decisions.
