Job Title: Head of Marketing and Growth
Salary: N250,000
Location: Remote (Lagos)
We are seeking a Head of Marketing and Growth to join our team. As the Head of Marketing and Growth, you will lead and implement the company’s marketing and growth strategy to boost student recruitment and brand visibility. This role focuses on creating effective marketing campaigns to engage prospective students and establishing partnerships that contribute to the company’s expansion in the study abroad sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy Development & Implementation
- Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan to drive student recruitment, covering both digital and offline channels.
- Define and communicate our company’s value proposition clearly to students, parents, and partner/affiliate agencies.
- Lead and manage all marketing campaigns, including content creation, event promotion, and advertising.
- Digital Marketing & Lead Generation
- Oversee digital marketing activities, including social media, SEO, and email marketing, to build brand awareness and generate leads.
- Develop content that resonates with prospective students, such as blogs, testimonials, and informative guides, and ensure alignment across digital platforms.
- Utilize marketing automation tools and CRM systems to track leads and nurture them through the recruitment funnel.
- * Partnerships & Market Expansion
- Establish and maintain relationships with key partners, such as schools, education agents, and related organizations, to enhance growth and expand market reach.
- Represent the company at industry events, education fairs, and webinars to promote partnership opportunities and student recruitment efforts.
- Market Research & Analysis
- Conduct market research to understand trends, competition, and the needs of target students and parents.
- Analyze data from marketing campaigns and student feedback to measure the effectiveness of initiatives and adapt strategies for better results. Develop competitor analysis reports and adjust growth strategies based on key insights.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor the marketing team, providing direction, feedback, and opportunities for professional growth.
- Collaborate with other departments, including admissions, operations, and customer service, to ensure brand alignment.
- Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the marketing team to drive performance and achieve targets.
- Budget Management
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies and achieving a high return on investment.
- Track, evaluate, and report on all marketing and growth-related activities, providing insights and recommendations to the CEO/Country Director.
- Event Management & Community Engagement
- Organize promotional events, and webinars for prospective students and parents, including on-site and virtual events.
- Engage with student and parent communities through on-ground events, partnerships with schools, and other community-driven activities to build trust and brand loyalty.
In this role, we expect the following:
- Bachelor's Degree in related fields
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with growth objectives.
- Proven 3-5 years work experience as a Marketing and Growth Lead
- Creativity: Innovative approach to content creation, campaign development, and community engagement.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and pivot strategies in response to industry changes.
- Customer Focus: Deep understanding of the customer journey and how to create a positive experience throughout.
- Collaboration: Strong ability to work cross-functionally and align marketing initiatives with company objectives.
