Position: Business Development Manager

Location: Ikoyi

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Base salary + Commission (Competitive compensation package based on experience)

Job Description:
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding our business reach. Your primary focus will be on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, fostering strong relationships with clients, and promoting our online store and logistics services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets by bringing business to sign in on shoppr and use shoppr services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions and proposals that meet clients’ needs.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms for both parties.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and market trends to identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in business development and sales, preferably in the online retail or logistics industry.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce and logistics operations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
