We are hiring a Business Development Manager to join our team. As a pivotal member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving growth. You’ll be responsible for overseeing and leading operations within your organization. You must have a passion for planning, organizing, and leading people effectively. Your responsibilities include:

  • Market Analysis:
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify key trends.
  • Analyze business needs and propose offerings.
  • Identify opportunities for growth in current and prospective markets while establishing goals and objectives concerning these prospects.
  • Strategy:
  • Develop business management goals and objectives that tend to growth.   
  • Design and implement business plans and strategies to promote the attainment of goals within your business unit.
  • Ensure the company has adequate and suitable resources to meet the defined strategy.
  • Organize and coordinate operations in ways that ensure maximum productivity.    
  • Supervise the work of employees and provide feedback and counsel to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Relationship Management:
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and external parties.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.   
  • Represent the company in events, conferences, etc.
  • Lead Generation:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive lead generation and outreach efforts.
  • Collaboration and Reporting:
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure collaboration and alignment with overall business goals.  
  • Assess overall company performance against objectives.  
  • Provide regular reports and updates on performance, market trends, and competitor activities to the COO/CEO.
  • Business Continuity:
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret external & internal data and write reports. 
  • Ensure adherence to legal rules and local guidelines.   
  • Develop budgets and perform periodic financial analyses.

Job Requirement

  • Proven experience as a business development manager in the mining Sector. 
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills. 
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and compellingly.  
  • Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development. 
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite. 
  • Good understanding of research methods and data analysis techniques. 
  • A degree in Business Management or a related field. 
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
