Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Account Officer to join our team and play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

– Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
– Manage and maintain the general ledger, recording all financial transactions accurately and timely.
– Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and various accounts to ensure accuracy
and consistency.
– Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including verifying invoices, and expenses, and preparing invoices for customers.
– Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes by providing financial insights and data.
– Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate recording of financial data
– Prepare and submit tax forms, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
– Analyze financial data and trends to identify areas for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and process improvement.
– Maintain confidentiality of financial information and handle sensitive financial matters with integrity.

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
– Proven 2 years of work experience as an Accountant or similar role.
– Strong understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and standards.
– Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
– Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
– Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment.
– Knowledge of relevant tax laws and regulations.
