Salary : 200k

Location – Victoria Island, Lagos
Job type: Full-time, Mondays to Fridays (9am – 5pm)
General Description
We’re hiring an experienced Human Resources and Administration Associate with a track record of building successful teams, fostering a positive work environment, ensuring achievement of business goals, and developing HR and Admin systems and processes leveraging best practices that will result in optimum performance all-round and alignment with our brand values. The role involves leading our internal HR department, recruitment, employee engagement, policy development and updates, training, payroll, benefits administration and office administration duties amongst others.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, from job posting to onboarding and orientation, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
- Collaborate with team leads to identify staffing needs, maintain a talent pool, and support career development plans for employees.
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction, engagement, and overall workplace morale.
- Provide regular recommendations on how to improve the employee experience and performance as well as office administration systems and processes.
- Identify training needs and coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee capabilities with regard to technical and soft skills.
- Implement and manage performance appraisal systems, providing guidance on improvement plans.
- Develop and update HR policies and procedures in compliance with local labor laws and industry standards.
- Administer employee payroll and benefits programs, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance.
- Monitor and control office budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities. Coordinate procurement for business and administrative needs, office logistics, and maintenance.
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, implementing and optimizing efficient systems and processes for enhanced productivity.
- Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, ensuring seamless office functionality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Proven experience as an HR Officer or in a similar role within the fashion industry.
- Knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in HRIS applications and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certification in HR management will be an added advantage.
